The Whole World Seems Out of Frequency With You…And That’s OK. V1P5

To carry forth from the last posting (V1P4) which focused on moving from Point A to Point B and the space between, it is important to emphasize the need to clearly define where you are (Point A) and where you want to be (Point B). In order to manifest that change from point to point; whether it is a physical, mental, spiritual or some other change; there must be a clarity within you about your present state and your desired state.

Clear your mind of distraction in order to achieve this clarity. The bulk of this distraction comes from the world around you, as it is imposed upon you through various medium, and is altering your mindset on what should be important to you in your life. There are signs all around us that impart wisdom to us throughout our lives. Many of this wisdom is lost in the shuffle of the world around us. Focus, meditate, pray, and find quiet moments of reflection as the keys to filtering away the clutter of the world around you and to finding clarity within yourself about Point A and Point B.

The Beatles channel just started last week on satellite radio. The mega success and impact of the four lads from Liverpool was greatly enhanced due to their musical and creative genius. But I believe it was also much more than that – they were messengers at the right place and at the right time with so much love and artistic output to share with the world. A quick synopsis of each of the Beatles, from my vantage point (and based upon my grasp of a certain point in each of their lives that they remain in my memory the strongest), would be as follows: Ringo – funny, happy-go-lucky, steady and joyful; George – quiet, reflective, spiritual; Paul – love; John – rebellious and metaphysical.

Consider this from “Watching the Wheels” (Lennon) in regards to filtering away the clutter of the world around you and finding clarity within yourself.

People say I’m crazy doin’ what I’m doin’
Well they give me all kinds of warnings to save me from ruin
When I say that I’m OK, well they look at me kind of strange
Surely you’re not happy now, you no longer play the game

People say I’m lazy dreamin’ my life away
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me
When I tell them I’m doing fine watching shadows on the wall
Don’t you miss the big time boy you’re no longer on the ball

I’m just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on that merry-go-round
I just had to let it go

People asking questions, lost in confusion
Well I tell them there’s no problem, only solutions
Well they shake their heads and they look at me as if I’ve lost my mind
I tell them there’s no hurry
I’m just sitting here doing time

I’m just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on that merry-go-round
I just had to let it go
I just had to let it go
I just had to let it go
I just had to let it go

I think these lyrics say a lot specific to this topic. They “speak” to me.

Define the points (A and B), envision a path to navigate through the space between, pray/meditate/quietly focus, and then release the attachment to this desire and let the universe/God/the all-powerful handle the details.

Free will and will power will come into play to be sure in the space between and you will have to make choices that better allow for Point B being the destination at some point in the future. It will most certainly not be a straight line and quick path to navigate but your part in it through how you live your life and what choices and decisions you make will alter the course.

Gain clarity and do your best to get to where you want to be. Doing your best should always include being kind, being respectful (to yourself and others), listening and learning to and from your instincts, the signs around you, others who are strewn about your life’s path while also filtering out that which does not row in the same direction. Clutter, nonsense, evil, disrespect, mean spiritedness, etc. – are all to be filtered out and avoided when possible.

You can and will change your life in an instant – it can happen within a prayer, a moment of stunning clarity within quiet introspection, through an act of kindness to others that furthers you to a life of perpetual kindness, etc.

The next several posts will include paths/rules/suggestions to aid you in your life’s quest – such as manifestation, positivity, being kind to others (specific acts/gestures), etc.

Goodbye for now.

How do I get to where I want to be? V1P4

Where you are and where you want to be must be crystal clear in your mind. These two points which surround the space between (as referred to in V1P3) must be defined, reviewed and pondered upon in order to bridge the gap between those two points. You must manifest the transition from Point A to Point B.

Hard work must be performed, difficult decisions made, as well as smart choices in order to provide the best chance for you to get from point to point. If you want it enough, you will get there. Do you really want it? How much so? Ask yourself.

There will be joy and pain. There will be pride and disgust. There will be highs and lows along the way. But it is all in within your power to get what you want and to be who you desire to be. Prayer, meditation, quiet positive thought is required. Ask and you shall receive. God is there for all of us to share.

I will be sharing with you, on my next several posts, some suggestions to live by that may work for you in your quest to move from Point A to Point B, to look and feel how you want to look and feel, to evolve spiritually throughout this life. Some of these suggestions may be more universal than others. Some may be of direct benefit and others will succeed through their ancillary effects upon your systems and/or upon others in your life.

Take some or all of these and add them to your life’s recipe for living. Per your own taste, suit to your situation and to your personal tolerance level. In the end, you will know what you need to do to accomplish all that you desire in this life. It will come from within and may be inspired from that which resides outside of you.

Until next time, goodbye for now.

Notes – May 23rd – Self Help V1P3

Before answering the questions posed in V1P2 (May 22nd), one must know what it is that one wants. It must be know with clarity and conviction. It must be defined for oneself and understood.

To elaborate on this consider the following.

What is your mantra? What do you pray for? What does your inner self show to you in brief glimpses over time? All of these are important parts of defining how we want to look and feel. You may have a good idea right now with no further introspection necessary. You may be clueless You are most likely somewhere in the space between.

The space between. What an enormous thought. What a wide span of territory and how so important to our future it is. One must “see” the space between in some big sky overview kind of way. The details of the points on each side must be crystal clear, however, and they consist of where you are and where you want to be.

Think of a plant that you have. You are charged with caring for it and you have an idea of how to do so. You envision a beautiful, growing, living thing with perhaps aroma and color and energy coming to fruition at some future date. What choices do you have to make to achieve that end? Would you do more or less for yourself?

In order to look and feel a certain way you have got to “earn it”. It will not come from osmosis. Part of this comes from what you tell yourself day in and day out – your mantra. Some of this comes from what you put out into the universe in prayer, mediation, quiet thought. Ask and you shall receive.

More to come on this soon. Until then, goodbye for now

Notes – May 22nd – Self Help V1P2

One sleeps and feels well rested. There is a surge in energy and both physical and mental health are improved. The rejuvenated body attacks the day with a fervor and the new-found energies parlay into more energy exertion.

The heart, the muscles and nervous system are all beneficiaries. The rejuvenated mind makes better decisions, is more alert and functions closer to peak efficiency. The peace and spiritual energy generated within oneself as a result of rest, energy exertion, endorphin production and the churning of all systems in unison results in a spiritual high of sorts.

All systems go. Go or No-Go, that is the question.

So how do we consistently make the right choices(as referred to in V1P1 of May 20th)? How does one look and feel the way that we would like to look and feel? With each day comes a multitude of multiple choices. What time shall I wake? What will I eat today and when will I eat  it? How will I embrace the work and life challenges that I must face today? Who will I show affection towards? Will I let the negative forces and energies that I confront do damage to my world? Etc., etc., etc.

Your responses, your actions, your choices will mold you in both the short-term and the long-term. They will also affect the balance that you possess with others.

Before you can answer these questions, you have to know what it is that you want. You must know with clarity and conviction. It may take time to develop this and it will most certainly morph over time, but it must eventually be defined for oneself and understood.

Next time we will discuss your mantra. Until then, goodbye for now.

Notes – May 20th – Self Help V1P1

Some humans are predisposed to certain ill-fated health situations through genetic misfortune. Others are at the mercy of severe socio-economic conditions and not truly granted free will and decision options specific to their health and well-being.

But, generally speaking, all of us look and feel the way that we want to look and feel. Now, there are some God-given limitations – we must work with the tools that we are blessed with. However, let me say it again, generally all of us look and feel the way that we choose to look and feel. With choice, free choice, comes the responsibility to accept the outcomes of those decisions and choices that we make.

There are some loose parameters that we are bound to adhere to. But one can and must and does prioritize. It is all about desire and outcome. It hinges sometimes on will power. But ultimately we decide.

I am speaking of both physical and spiritual health.

Let us look at the foundations of physical health and well-being. The building blocks of a healthy core are sleep, diet and exercise. The ancillary support system to these physical building blocks are spiritual and mental well being. Mind, body and spirit are all connected and through progress towards goodness in one area we generate a by-product of slight improvement in another area.

Our next post will deal with “All Systems  – Go or No Go”.

Goodbye for now.

And so it begins…

My journey here begins today. Your journey has intersected mine at some point subsequent to the moments that I type these words. One of the coincidences that mark our trail from start to finish. One of the flashpoints that either inspires or fails to draw attention. As beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so to true evolution of one’s spirit is in the eye of the all powerful and divine beholder.

I hope to share with you my various mini milestones along this path. Your interconnectedness to me, through the universal life force, will also allow for your reaction to alter and enhance my action. Like a pendulum whose momentum never pales – the back and forth among us can and will inspire us to move forward in a positive and perpetually improving fashion.

God is Love. God is universal. God is for all to share. God is that from which all become.

Goodbye for now.
